How the KinkCheck adaptive kink assessment works

1. The Quick Read

Instead of asking you a rigid list of hundreds of questions, KinkCheck starts with a focused Quick Read.

• Length: Approximately 37 questions.
• Purpose: This baseline quickly maps your broad interests across different areas like power, sensation, and service.

2. Adaptive Depth

Based on your Quick Read responses, KinkCheck's recommendation planner will suggest specific modules worth exploring further.

• Go deeper where it fits: If you showed high interest in sensory play, the app will offer a module specifically on that topic.
• Your Choice: You can accept the recommendations or browse the full module catalog after the Quick Read and explicitly add anything else you want to explore. Advanced and guarded modules remain behind a separate opt-in. You never have to spend time on irrelevant questions.

3. Multi-Dimensional Scoring

KinkCheck goes beyond a simple "yes/no" or 1-10 scale. When answering prompts, you will rate them across multiple dimensions:

• Pull/Aversion: Do you crave it or dislike it?
• Limits: Is this a hard boundary?
• Importance & Confidence: How essential is this to you, and how sure are you?
• Context: Does this depend on your mood or environment?

4. Your Private Result

After completing your selected modules, KinkCheck generates a detailed, multi-dimensional Desire Profile. Your results will highlight:

• Net desire versus aversion across top categories.
• Specific cravings, aversions, and blockers (hard limits).
• Which of your interests are consistent traits and which are flexible states.

No account is required, and your results are calculated in this browser. From the results page, you can save a password-encrypted .kinkcheck file to restore your full run on another device. A separate Share Card shows a selected summary.
